Overview

This website sets no cookies and uses no tools that track you across other websites. I only process personal data as far as it is needed to run the website, answer requests and handle bookings.

Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit it, Vercel automatically processes technical data your browser sends (server log files): IP address, date and time, requested page, referrer URL, browser and operating system. This is needed to deliver the website and keep it secure. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in secure, stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Vercel processes this data on my behalf. Data may be transferred to the USA; Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision, Art. 45 GDPR).

Statistics (Vercel Web Analytics)

To see which pages are visited, I use Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It records the page visited, the referrer URL, your approximate location (country, region, city), browser, operating system and device type. Visits are counted with a hash derived from the request that is discarded after 24 hours; you are not recognised over a longer period or across other websites. I only see aggregated statistics. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in improving the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Contact by email

If you email me, I process your email address, your name and the content of your message to answer your request. If it concerns a booking, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; otherwise my legitimate interest in replying (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

I use Gmail, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA, which is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. I delete messages once they are no longer needed, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

Booking private sessions (Cal.com)

The free private-session times shown in the calendar are loaded by this website's server from the scheduling service Cal.com; none of your data is sent to Cal.com for that. Only when you choose a time are you taken to the booking page of Cal.com, Inc., 2261 Market Street #4382, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA.

There you enter your name, email address and, if you like, a message. Cal.com processes this data on my behalf to manage your booking and send you confirmations and reminders. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Payment on the booking page is handled by the payment provider Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, D02 H210, Ireland), which processes your payment details for this; I never receive full card details. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Stripe's privacy policy also applies: https://stripe.com/privacy

Cal.com also processes data in the USA; transfers are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Cal.com's own privacy policy also applies to its booking page: https://cal.com/privacy

Links to other providers

This website links to Eversports, Urban Sports Club, ClassPass, the studios' websites and Google Maps. None of them is embedded: no data is sent to these providers until you click a link. From then on, their privacy policies apply.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Just send me an email.

You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (https://www.datenschutz-berlin.de).

Obligation to provide data and automated decisions

You are not obliged to provide any data. Without it, however, I can't answer requests or handle bookings. No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.
